How to program my Puxing radio station? Tutorials

Guide to program the 8 usual channels in Spain in PUXING 777, 888, and 999 series radio stations. To be compatible with commercial PMR 446 stations, we must ensure that we purchase the UHF version.

Select the step between channels

We will press MENU and we will look for STEP, we press ENTER. 25 will appear on the screen, and we will search until we find 6.25, press ENTER and it is already selected.

Select the output power

We will press MENU and look for POW, we will press ENTER and we will be able to choose the emission power, H, which emits at 4W, or L, which emits at 1W. We will select the desired one and press ENTER.

Program the frequency of emission and reception

We will select the frequency, either using the wheel or the keyboard. Using the following table:

Channel Frequency (MHz)
1 ……………… .446.00625
2 ……………… .446.01875
3 ……………… .446.03125
4 ……………… .446.04375
5 ……………… .446.05625
6 ……………… .446.06875
7 ……………… .446.08125
8 ……………… .446.09375

Channel is what we would find in a normal Walkie, Frequency is the number that we will introduce.

If we use the keyboard we will only introduce the first six such that: 446.0XX and the last two will appear alone in tiny.

Schedule CTCSS subtones

If necessary, we will select the CTCSS (or subtone) as follows:

Press MENU, and look for C-CDC, we will see that numbers appear on the screen, we will select the appropriate one according to the following table.

Subtone Frequency (Hz)
01 …………… 67.0
02 …………… 71.9
03 …………… 74.4
04 …………… 77.0
05 …………… 79.7

34 …………… 218.1
35 …………… 225.7
36 …………… 233.6
37 …………… 241.8
38 …………… 250.3

The subtone is the small number that appears in a normal Walkie, Frequency is the number that we must look for in the puxing.

Example:

We are going to program the frequency (or channel) "4" with the CTCSS subtone "23"

  • We turn on the Puxing.
  • Enter 446.043 on the keyboard (44.04375 appears on the screen).
  • Press MENU, look for C-CDC and press ENTER.
  • We look for the frequency 146.2 and press ENTER.
  • We already have channel 4.23 in Puxing.

Store a frequency

Once we have a frequency selected to save it we will press MENU and then ESC / M, there we will choose in which number to save it (a triangle below the number means that it already has one saved) and to save it we will press ESC / M.

To then select a saved frequency, press ESC / M and instead of choosing the frequency, we will choose a channel that we have saved.

5 STEP How to put the FM radio

To put it in radio mode, press MENU and the button under the PTT and that's it, we can select the frequency with the wheel or the keyboard.

I hope this guide clarifies the doubts of anyone who has a Puxing and does not know how to program it.

PS: harton often write I have stuck XD.
